A Private Cloud, designed for mission critical applications
Sentia has worked for many years to refine and optimise its own private cloud, the Sentia Cloud, which is designed for mission-critical applications and fully situated in Tier3 + data centers in the Netherlands. Thanks to the Sentia Cloud, any of our client’s IT networks can be adjusted quickly, allowing them to anticipate the demands of the market.
Unique to the Sentia Cloud is our Managed Application Continuity service. All your application launches, releases, updates and changes are secure within our safe processes. Your customers are not affected by changes in your environment and your platform is always up to date.
Before we construct a client network in the Sentia Cloud, we monitor the behaviour of your application for a few weeks in order to assign the best location to your application within the Sentia Cloud. This ensures there will be no bad neighbours or any applications in your vincinity that can disrupt the performance of your applications.
In the Sentia Cloud we do not transfer resources (CPU, RAM or bandwidth) and disk images are stored on a redundant SAN. In addition, there are standard off-site backups. Our contracts are flexible and arranged in such a way that they can provide continuity and security. Of course, the Managed Application Continuity on the Sentia Cloud is certified according to ISO 9001, 14001, 27001 NEN7510 and ISAE 3402. The Sentia Cloud is also equipped with the 'right to examine' so at any time our clients and their regulators have access to ‘their data’.
Service Level Agreement (SLA)
The Sentia Cloud is ideal for organisations that use the DevOps philosophy. We help you to find the ultimate form of DevOps within your delivery model. Service levels are issued on the application, including chain monitoring. Sentia makes use of the following application performance indicators: performance, elasticity, availability and security; naturally we put all of this into a clear SLA.
Our engineers have a flexible, action-oriented attitude, and the considered approach necessary to perform structured adjustments. Sentia uses load simulators for your applications so performance management can be accomplished proactively. Firewalls and load balancers are optimally configured for demanding applications, sites and interfaces.
