Essentially, every day is Customer Appreciation Day for Sentia. Client satisfaction is what constantly drives us to deliver an even better service, and to further tailor what we offer to the needs of our customers. Once a year, we want to make our appreciation of our clients explicitly clear. As part of this, Sentia invited some clients and their partners to the Customer Appreciation Day at the National Opera and Ballet.
The Dutch National Opera, a customer of Sentia, creates and performs dramatic musical art, focusing on quality, diversity and innovation. This is expressed by taking a fresh approach to the opera classics, rediscovering repertoire that has seldom been performed and creating brand-new operas. The organization is focussed on creativity, but also IT is an important supporting part of the success of their shows as for example ordering systems, website and effects during the show. The Dutch National Opera is a customer of Sentia since last September and this partnership resulted into this special event.
At the start of the evening the guest were invited to join a tour behind the scenes, with unique views of the stage and all people and machinery involved. From complete sets to costumes, and from special effects to wigs; practically everything is produced in the workshops of the Dutch National Opera. After dinner and an introduction by Bart Hermans (Teamlead ICT) our guest enjoined the Opera La Bohème. And it is no coincidence that La bohème is one of the audience favourites. The moving love story can be told like a film, and Puccini’s music is compellingly beautiful. The Customer Appreciation Day was both figuratively and literally a beautiful experience and its worth repeating every year.
